Culturally sensitive sex therapy
Having worked in teaching London hospitals for nearly 20 years, I developed a culturally sensitive sex therapy framework. I work with the model described by Hall and Graham (2014), where they stress the value of understanding sexual problems in a cultural context such that there is a shared understanding of the meaning and significance of the sexual problem between the client/patient/couple and the therapist.
- I work with cross-cultural couples who need support in their sex life and relationships.
- I also provide therapy to people to help them integrate into a host country.
